OS is Win 7 64-bit...any thoughts regarding whether and how I should respond to this error message?Activation context generation failed for "c:\program files (x86)\microsoft\search enhancement pack\search helper\sepsearchhelperie.dll".Error in manifest or policy file "c:\program files (x86)\microsoft\search enhancement pack\search helper\sepsearchhelperie.dll" on line 2. Hi Glr, Before moving on, could you please let me know if the computer installed Windows Live Search Toolbar?If so, please temporarily remove it and test the issue again. If the error disappear, please install the latest Windows Live Search Toolbar to resolve the issue. Hope it helps. Thanks.

Widows Live Seach Toolbar is indeed installed. I have severalWindows applications including Live Essentials, ID Sign-in assistant, Sync and Upload tool. Within Windows Live I have all the subprograms including Toolbar. Which of these programs do you recommend I uninstall?Thank you Robinson for your interest in my issue.Regards,Greg

Hi Greg, I cannot tell you which prgram need to be uninstalled since I do not familar with Windows Live software. Given the current situaition, I suggest you reinstall every Windows Live software to troubleshoot this issue. It may overwrite corrupt file with new version. Hope it helps.

Master Code Jockey - So.... can I just use Resource Tuner and edit the sepsearchhelperie.dll, changing the version: old: version=1.0.0.0 new: version='1.0' and fix this error???
